Where To Find Springfields Adventureland?

Adventure Land, Springfields Outlet Shopping & Leisure, Camel Gate, Spalding, Lincolnshire, PE12 6EU

What You’ll Find When You Arrive

Upon arrival, you will find a large car park to the left hand side as you drive in from the A151.

The carpark is shared by shoppers and Adventureland customers alike.

We arrived quite early and had the pick of the car park, which whilst being really quite large, will fill up as the shoppers arrive throughout the day.

As you make your way from the car park, you will see the shops in front of you.

To find Adventureland, just keep walking straight through the parade of shops and you’ll find Adventureland at the end.

To the main attraction, the activities.

  1. Goldies Gold Mine (all ages)
  2. Springy’s Railroad (all ages)

The climbing wall – £5.00

Paddle Boats – £3.00

Younger Children

Our little one (2.5 years old at the time of our visit) had a really nice time at Springfields.

He particularly enjoyed the JCB Young Drivers zone, Springy’s Beach & the Tree Top Walk.

At the time of our visit, Springy’s railroad was closed for repair.

This was noted on the website ahead of our visit.

Do keep in mind some of the activities are for children aged 3 years and up.

Food & Drink

The Food and drink was of pretty good quality, we had our usual coffee and cake combination alongside some drinks and snacks for the Children from the Cafe.

We decided before setting off home from the park that we would have lunch, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu offered by the diner there.

The 4 of us ate for just under £40.00 which we were pleased with, so much so that we indulged in some ice cream after.

We really liked the diner setting, which was in keeping with the vibe set by Adventureland.

I think anything more upmarket would deter families looking for informal dining at less than theme park prices.

What Does It All Cost?

As mentioned above, the food and drinks were quite reasonable. Certainly less than you’d expect to pay at a larger theme park.

Entry to the park

We booked online and the prices were (mid season prices correct for 2024):

Family 2+2 (2x Adults, 2x Children) – £23.00

Family 1 + 3 (1x Adult, 3x Children) – £27.00

Child (aged 3 – 15) – £8.00

Toddler (children under 3 who can walk) – £2.00

Adult – £4.00

Concession (60 years + or students) – £3.00

Babies in arms (a child not yet walking / in pram) – £0.00

Do note that in some cases it may be cheaper to book the tickets individually rather than automatically opting for the 2+2 or 1+3 family tickets.

We have a 2.5 year old and 5.5 year old, booking the tickets individually cost £18.00 vs £23.00 if we had booked the 2+2 family ticket.

Credit to the wife for spotting this when we booked.

There are also membership options available and you can pay on the day (usually for an approximate £1.00 per person uplift on internet prices).

Internet bookings must be made no later than 24 hours before attending.

Further Information

Concession tickets are for students (with valid ID) or seniors aged 60+.

Disabled guests do pay full price, but are able to bring an essential adult carer for free.

Carer tickets can’t be booked online, you may be required to show proof of entitlement on arrival.

Clothing restrictions apply on some activities, closed toe shoes must be worn on the Skynet & Springy’s Rock.

Do check the Springfields website before visiting.

Final Thoughts

Our family of 4 really had a good time, the park is relatively small and we stayed for around 2.5 hours in total, which was enough for us.

There were some activities that we didn’t do, which we would have liked (Dino golf being an example).

We will definitely go back and spend more time at the park, we felt it offered good value for money for a family like ours.

I must stress that the park isn’t huge, so don’t expect a theme park but more somewhere where you can have a really good half day of family fun & then do some eating and some shopping.

The car park was a pleasant surprise as it only set us back £2.00 for the duration of our stay. Do check for yourself as the rate will likely change depending on the day you visit.
